Wow! Wherever you are in this incredible villa there are absolutely stunning views! Whether you are on the outstanding terrace, in the 4 immaculate bedrooms, the living and dining area or even the bathrooms the panorama takes your breath away!
Built-in 2018, this blend of stark white against the steel grey of the mountains, in the charming allure of the countryside near Baska Voda, close to the Makarska Riviera is perfect as a luxury holiday villa. The exceptional Villa Masoni is situated at the foot of the Biokova mountain, 2km from the sea overlooking the dazzling Adriatic and the island of Brac and Hvar. It is simply stunning! The shape of the villa is very clever as it makes the most of the charm and beauty of the surroundings. You have an amazing combination of high-quality facilities, privacy and seclusion, gorgeous panorama whether it be the sea or the Mediterranean pines, olives and mountains and within easy reach, you can be on a fabulous beach. You will not want to leave this villa – be warned!
Outside the ground level living area, you will find a spectacular terrace with infinity swimming pool, sun loungers, parasols, outdoor shower, alfresco dining area and barbecue. It is the perfect place to relax. There is also a small garden behind the house for some quiet time where you will smell the Mediterranean lavender, rosemary and laurel while lazing on the hammock.
The inside living and dining rooms are immaculate. The use of glass in this house is incredible so that wherever you are, even the middle of the house you can see the glorious blue sky, sea, mountains or something else that lifts your heart.
One of the elegant king bedrooms with pristine en-suite bathroom is on the lower ground door with a terrace and sea views. This is a great room if you have family members wanting a little privacy away from the rest of the family – perhaps grandparents. The remaining exquisite bedrooms are on the first floor. The master bedroom has a glorious terrace with sea views and an en-suite where you can laze in the stand-alone bath with a glass of champagne and look out to the glistening azure waters. How luxurious is that! Another king also has a spectacular terrace looking out to sea and the last one, delightful mountain views. There is another superb bathroom on this floor. The bathrooms have fantastic rainfall showers and superior fluffy towels.
You cannot fail to be impressed with this villa – the views, the quality furnishings, the light and the atmosphere. You will feel pampered – exactly how it should be!Baska Voda is a small, pretty village just 9km north of Markarska and just south of Brela. It is an easy day trip to Split and a wonderful holiday destination. Once a humble fishing village, Baska Voda’s beaches, pine woods and lovely setting have made it a favourite for seaside tourism. Baska Voda took shape when groups of people began coming down from the highlands to the sea looking for freshwater (baska voda).
Those that like hiking should definitely discover the Biokovo Mountain. It is incredible. By far it is the greatest sight of the Central Dalmatian coastline. You will see stunning scenery, wild horses and goats, the remains of old settlements, alpine plants, forests and wildflowers in the Biokovo Nature Park. You could also hire a bike or scooter so that you can see more.
The nearby villages of Bast and Topici, known for their artisanal cheese, proscuitto and bread are worth a visit. You should also take a stroll along the promenasde and look at the little fishermen’s houses in Bratus. You may well see them fixing their nets!
The beautiful Markarska Riviera stretches between Brela and Gradac with beautiful beaches, pine trees, the glistening turquoise sea and lovely quiet bays. You can book so many trips out to the islands of Brac and Hvar or simply to play in the sea. Markarska town is the heart of nightlife and eating out in this area. Some typical dishes of the Markarska region are the superb Bikovo cheese and ‘Kastradina’ which is a stew made with dried and smoked lamb, mutton or goat meat.
Similar to Split’s ‘Riva’ promenade, it has a lovely palm-lined promenade with fashionable cafes, bars and boutiques and you will see small yachts in the harbour. There is a small museum in the town where you can find out about local history and culture. The Villa
