Great for families and larger groups, Villa Almissa can accommodate up to ten guests. The large sun terrace is a fine place to unwind with dinner or drinks, or perhaps just lazing on one of the many sun loungers you can find poolside. A barbecue and covered dining area let you cook up something hot and enjoy it in the shade.

The living room on the ground floor has direct access to the pool area, as does the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, freezer, coffee machine and much more. A shower room can also be found on this level.

Three bedrooms with en-suite occupy the upper floor, two of them doubles and one a convertible twin. On the lower ground floor, another bedroom with en-suite can accommodate three guests, and a playroom complete with television, toys, a games console and sofa-bed are perfect for the children to get some time to themselves.

With the centre just a stroll away, Omiš is one of the highlights of Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. Standing on the River Cetina, it’s a picturesque town with incredible Adriatic views and fine beaches to enjoy. Regular festivals and cultural events are a great way to get to know more about Croatian culture, with the pirate history of Omiš itself particularly fascinating.

Food and drink plays a big part in Omiš life, so you won’t be short of dining options. The town buzzes with bars, cafés and restaurants, with many just a short walk from Villa Almissa. It’s an easy town to reach too, at just 35km from Split Airport.

A small harbour town on the Dalmatian Coast, Omiš sits at the mouth of the Cetina River. It has a long and rich history, with stories of the town’s notorious pirates running amok in the Middle Ages among those you are bound to discover.

These days, it’s a pleasant place with lovely beaches and a wealth of great restaurants and cafés. Mountains, olive groves and vineyards lend their magic to the beautiful areas which surround the town, and the Cetina gives you the opportunity to try out water-sports like rafting and canoeing.

Omiš is something of a cultural hub too. The town hosts festivals celebrating music and theatre on a regular basis, with an annual highlight being the Festival of Dalmatian Klapas each summer. Fortresses, churches and cobbled streets give the town plenty of character, with Roman cities like Split and Salona also easily accessible from Omiš.
