Maison Ecuyere is located on the edge of Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré – its vibrant daily market is only a 15-minute stroll away, the largest and liveliest market on the island. Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré also offers a delightful mix of little shops and cafés that spill onto sunny terraces. To the south of the village, its long, sandy beaches stretch along the southern coast, ideal for sunbathing, beach games and watersports.

Over in La Couarde-sur-Mer (4.5km), quieter shores beckon, backed by dunes and maritime pines, while the town itself enchants with whitewashed houses and climbing hollyhocks lining its peaceful lanes.
