This is a superb location for exploring the Languedoc region of southern France, close to traditional villages, the Canal du Midi and the world-famous unesco World Heritage site, La Cité de Carcassonne.

The owner’s family-run wine estate, set within a 115-hectare domaine just 7km away, offers a complimentary cellar tours and wine-tasting alongside use of a tennis court. It’s a wonderful chance to immerse yourself in local winemaking traditions while enjoying the beauty of the Minervois landscape.

Nearby villages such as Caunes-Minervois and Rieux-Minervois provide a range of amenities, all within a 10 to 15-minute drive. Also close by is Trèbes (10km), set along the Canal du Midi and the Aude River, with a picturesque port, waterside restaurants and a couple of good-sized supermarkets.
