Villa Rossini is located in a gated residential neighbourhood between Mougins and Mouans-Sartoux, a fine setting for exploring the French Riviera and its hinterland. It’s handy being able to stroll less than 15 minutes to a local bakery, butcher and wine shop.

Mougins (4km), perched on a hilltop, is a haven for art lovers and gourmands alike. Its winding, cobbled streets are home to galleries, elegant boutiques and exceptional restaurants. Follow Picasso’s footsteps as you soak up the delightful ambience across this beautiful village.

In the other direction, Mouans-Sartoux (2.5km) offers a vibrant contrast with its lively street market, shops and charming cafés – ideal for everyday essentials and a flavour of authentic village life. The train station in Mouans-Sartoux has departures towards Grasse and Ventimiglia (via Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Monaco Monte Carlo).

Indeed, to the south the sparkling allure of the French Riviera awaits. In less than half an hour, guests can be in the heart of Cannes (11km), famed for its golden beaches, designer boutiques and iconic film festival. Yet beyond the glamour lies Le Suquet, the city's medieval quarter, where winding lanes lead to panoramic viewpoints and a glimpse of Cannes’ monastic origins.

Further along the coast, Antibes (17km) enchants with its old town charm, traditional markets and the impressive Port Vauban – the hub of Mediterranean yachting. Stroll the coastal path around Cap d’Antibes or enjoy the lively nightlife and sun-drenched beaches of Juan-les-Pins.

For a more relaxed day out, head to the atmospheric village of Valbonne (8.5km), particularly on a Friday morning when the market fills its central square with Provençal produce, artisanal crafts and local chatter. Grasse (10km) is also within a short drive, known as the perfume capital of the world.
