The picturesque town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence captures the very essence of Provence with its winding cobbled streets, art galleries, and wonderful range of restaurants from charming bistros to high-end establishments. Le Mas de Pierre is located in a residential area just a 15-minute stroll (no pavement some of the way) from the heart of the historic town.  

For those who love to explore local culture, Saint-Rémy’s bustling weekly market is a must-visit. Every Wednesday, the town comes alive with the colours and aromas of fresh produce, artisan cheeses, fragrant herbs, and handcrafted goods.

Another one of the town’s most celebrated attractions is the Saint-Paul de Mausole Monastery (2.3km), where Vincent van Gogh spent a year creating some of his most iconic works. A visit to this historic site offers an intimate glimpse into the artist’s world, with reproductions of his paintings displayed in the tranquil gardens that once inspired his masterpieces. Also a short distance away, the Glanum Archaeological site (2.5km) reveals the fascinating remnants of an ancient Roman settlement, showcasing beautifully preserved temples, baths, and streets that date back over two millennia.

Beyond the town, the rugged beauty of Les Alpilles Natural Park provides endless opportunities for outdoor pursuits.
