Outdoors, the experience unfolds beautifully. A heated swimming pool stretches out towards the surrounding vines, its setting as captivating as it is calm. Shaded terraces create natural spaces for long lunches and evening gatherings, while the lawn leads towards olive groves and orchards. Days here drift easily between cooling swims, games of pétanque and moments soaking in the views.
Just 2km away, the village of Goult offers an authentic slice of Provençal life. Its cobbled streets, historic windmill and relaxed atmosphere make it a joy to explore, whether browsing the Thursday morning market or picking up fresh bread from the bakery. The wider Luberon is rich with discoveries, from the hilltop villages of Gordes and Ménerbes to the ochre hues of Roussillon, all within a short drive. For a livelier scene, Apt’s renowned market brims with local produce, while vineyards, cycling routes and walking trails weave through the surrounding countryside.

Close to the pretty village of Goult, Villa La Berrette enjoys a scenic setting in the heart of the Luberon. This area is characterised by rolling vineyards, olive groves and characterful stone architecture, offering an authentic slice of Provençal life.
Goult itself is a delight to explore, with its historic windmill, cobbled lanes and relaxed village atmosphere. It’s said to be one of the Luberon’s hidden gems, home to a small handful of restaurants and a lovely market on a Thursday morning. There’s also a grocery store and bakery whilst larger supermarkets can be found near Apt and Coustellet. It’s just a 2km drive to reach Goult or some guests choose to walk in around half an hour (following country roads, no pavements).
The surrounding countryside is ideal for outdoor pursuits, with picturesque walking trails and cycling routes weaving through the Luberon landscape. Wine lovers will also find plenty to enjoy, with nearby vineyards offering tastings of local vintages.
Within 10 to 15 minutes by car, some of the Luberon’s most beautiful villages await, including Ménerbes, Gordes, Roussillon and Bonnieux. Each offers its own unique charm, from Gordes’ dramatic hilltop views to Roussillon’s striking ochre cliffs. For a livelier Provençal experience, head to Apt, famed for its vibrant Saturday morning market, where stalls brim with local delicacies, crafts and seasonal produce.
Further afield, the elegant villages of Lourmarin and Cucuron can be reached within 40 minutes, perfect for a leisurely day out exploring cafés, high-end restaurants and historic squares. In the opposite direction, cultural day trips to Avignon (40km), with its impressive Palais des Papes, or the waterways and antique shops of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (20km), offer a wonderful contrast to the rural surroundings.
