The villa easily accommodates eight guests, with room for everyone to socialise together and to enjoy private moments alone. Each bedroom has access to a private terrace or balcony, and with a large roof terrace at the top of the villa with a luxurious hot tub, there is plenty of space to spread out. Within the villa, the design is modern and spacious, with living areas flowing easily from space to space, creating a natural flow to the property. The lines between the indoors and outdoors blend together, with sliding glass doors creating seamless barriers that allow you to amble in and out with ease. Each window creates a picture frame image of the diverse natural surroundings, drawing the landscape within the villa’s walls.
The villa has four spacious bedrooms, three of them have double beds, while the fourth has two single beds. The four bedrooms are well-organised, each with it's own bathroom and an additional guest WC. Bath amenities are provided, as are robes and slippers. Villa Air has a fabulous location in the small village of Kokkino Chorio, close to the larger village of Plaka, where helpful amenities and picturesque pebbled beaches can be found. A little further along the coastline, just a 5-minute car journey away, is the resort of Almyrida which boasts a wider range of amenities as well as clean, family-friendly sandy beaches. Chania itself is just forty minutes away by car, with its picturesque Venetian harbour, it really is a must-visit. Chania International Airport is conveniently situated just forty-five minutes away.
With gorges to be walked, ancient sites to be visited, time trodden villages to be discovered, and stunning sandy beaches to be lazed upon, this is the perfect Greek destination for holidaymakers of any age. Plus, food is in abundance. Look out for fresh seafood and traditional Greek moussaka.
The villa is 28km from the beautiful city of Chania. There you'll find a charming Venetian Harbour and old port, alongside narrow shopping streets and waterfront restaurants. From Chania, it's a two-hour drive to the island's capital Heraklion where you can immerse yourself in ancient culture. The vibrant port city is best known for the Palace of Knossos. The archaeological site dates back thousands of years to the Minoan civilisation. Guarding the city's Venetian port is the 16th-century Koules fortress. A drive around Heraklion will also bring you to traditional villages, Medieval castles, Byzantine monasteries and secluded coves.

Villa Air was beautiful! We had a wonderful stay, the house is gorgeous, really well appointed, comfortable and luxurious. The location is fabulous and we got to enjoy stunning orange sunsets every evening that bathed the house in a lovely glow. The property manager Mike couldn't do enough for us and made some great recommendations for the area which were so helpful. The cleaning service that came daily Monday-Thursday was very much appreciated and a detail that I must have missed. We barely lifted a finger all week! Can I hop on a plane and come again asap?!

We met the property manager, he showed us around and explained how the A/C works. The villa was clean upon arrival. It looks exactly like the pictures but even better in real life. The surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet, you can hear the crickets. The sunset can be seen from all three floors and looks stunning – very beautiful view for photos and at night you can look up at see lots of stars! The view from the jacuzzi is gorgeous and you can change the colours which is cute! I would say a car is needed to do the food shopping, visit places etc as it’s a bit of a walk without a car, however, there is a steep entrance to the villa but once you get the hang of it, it’s okay! All rooms were clean and in perfect condition. The kitchen has a dishwasher, all utensils you need and a big fridge to fit plenty of food. There is also a washing machine and a clothes hanging rack so you can air dry the clothes in the sun. There is also a gas barbeque outside and works perfectly. The closest beach was Almirida beach and I really loved that there are restaurants very close, basically on the beach! Lots of parking too. Overall, 10/10 definitely recommend.
