The main entrance opens into a spacious open-plan living area, which comprises a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with seating for six, and a lounge arranged around a 42” satellite television. The interior is finished with rustic stone walls, wood furnishings and flooring, and a neutral colour palette that reflects the natural surroundings. The living and dining areas are well suited for both cooler evenings indoors and warmer weather, with an adjacent outdoor dining space. The kitchen includes modern appliances, ample workspace, including a large island that doubles as a breakfast bar, and extensive natural light from large windows.

The villa accommodates six guests across three bedrooms. Two twin/double rooms are located on the ground floor, each with direct garden access through large patio doors. The master bedroom, situated on the first floor, includes a king-size bed, a 42” LCD television, a writing desk, and storage. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide abundant natural light and views of the surrounding greenery. An adjoining terrace offers two chairs and side tables, ideal for morning coffee or quiet reflection. The master bedroom also benefits from an ensuite bathroom finished in marble, featuring a Jacuzzi, a walk-in shower, and dual basins. The ground-floor bathroom includes a hydro-massage shower and WC, also incorporating locally sourced stone and marble elements. Both bathrooms are stocked with organic Cretan toiletries. An additional WC is available on the ground floor.

The villa’s outdoor area includes a large private pool framed by olive and orange trees. The surrounding garden offers multiple furnished zones, including sun loungers, shaded seating, and a covered dining area. These spaces cater to a range of activities, from group gatherings to quiet relaxation.

Chania, the capital of Crete, is one of the most famous towns of the Greek islands, particularly for its authentic culture and character and historic structures including its beautiful Venetian Harbour. It is an incredibly well-preserved Venetian town with all kinds of Medieval architecture, framing a bustling metropolis of museums, churches, narrow shopping streets, waterfront restaurants and crafts shops. Alongside the stunning coastal areas and mountainous landscapes are an array of outstanding remains and glorious buildings of an ancient era, including a picturesque harbourfront and interesting venetian lighthouse.

Chania is also the perfect location to try all kinds of local cuisine, wine and traditional feasts – some of the best local restaurants include: The Well of the Turk, Antigoni, Karnagio, Chrysostomos and Above Chania. Furthermore, for educational and historical adventures you can visit the Maritime Museum, or the Archaeological Museum, or take a trip to one of the many surrounding monasteries or historical sites including the Samaria Gorge, Venizelos Graves or the unique architectural complex of Tabakaria.

To the north of the island are the more touristic beach areas, and to the south are the more secluded and traditional beaches, punctuated by small seaside villages, and of course there are thousands of deserted coves and isolated bays for private enjoyment, if you look hard enough! The West Coast beaches of soft sand and coloured pebbles, such as Falasarna, are around 38km away from Villa Gala, and the South Coast beaches with crystal waters, including Sougia, are about 53km away.
