A forty square metre private swimming pool takes centre stage, while an adjacent four thousand five hundred square metre organic orchard invites guests to pick seasonal fruit and vegetables. Inside, floor-to-ceiling glass frames mountain views and fills the open-plan living space with light. Contemporary furnishings sit alongside handcrafted wood pieces and heirloom textiles. The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and two ensuite bedrooms with terrace access. Upstairs, the master bedroom enjoys its own shower room and panoramic roof terrace.

Villa Agia sits at the apex of a golden triangle in a fertile valley near Lake Agia, where the nearest beach, town and mountains are all within ten minutes. The villa is twenty-four kilometres from Chania International Airport, approximately a thirty-minute drive through the Cretan countryside. The nearest village, with minimarkets for daily provisions as well as local shops, bars and restaurants, is a short drive away. Nature walks can be enjoyed around the Botanical Gardens, Lake Agia, nearby water springs and the surrounding mountain range.
Crete’s coastline is home to forty-one beautiful beaches, with Platanias, Gerani, Agioi Apostoloi and Agia Marina the closest to the villa. These soft sandy shores offer shallow entry into the calm Aegean Sea, organised sunbeds with parasols, family-friendly cafés and tavernas, and opportunities for water sports, particularly windsurfing and kitesurfing.
The medieval town of Chania is just ten minutes away. Wander around the old harbour, visit the Maritime and Archaeological Museums, explore the Church of Agios Nikolaos, browse the local market and dine on freshly caught seafood by the water. The lively resort of Platanias is nearby, while keen walkers can explore the island’s three hundred caves, scenic ravines and historic ruins, stopping at local wineries along the way.
Further afield, Heraklion is a two-hour drive, home to the Palace of Knossos and its renowned Archaeological Museum. Highlights across the island include Vai on the eastern tip, Psychro Cave, Mount Ida, Sitia Geopark and the waterfall at Richtis Gorge. Boat trips, snorkelling excursions and visits to Spinalonga and Agios Nikolaos complete the Cretan experience.
