Arranged over two levels, the villa features three ensuite bedrooms on the first floor, accessed from street level, alongside an expansive open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Floor-to-ceiling glass floods the space with natural light. The lower, ground floor hosts two further ensuite bedrooms, a second kitchen, dining space, an atmospheric wine cellar and a distinctive indoor heated salt pool set against textured stone walls. From here 3 french doors open to the pool and barbecue terrace. There is also a locked gate accessed from street level as the villa is built on a hill. 

Each bedroom is finished with a refined, minimalist aesthetic, with contemporary furnishings, ultra comfortable king-size beds and high-quality bathrooms, including one with a freestanding bathtub. All the wetrooms have hand and rain showers, and toiletries, robes and slippers are on offer.

Outside, the private garden and terrace are designed for relaxation and entertaining, with a swimming pool, loungers, shaded sitting /dining area and a fully equipped alfresco dining space with barbecue.

Villa Dika is set in the heart of Chania, just fourteen kilometres from the airport and two kilometres from the nearest beach, with excellent restaurants, bars and shops all within easy reach.

Often referred to as the Venice of the East, Chania Old Town is full of character, with cobbled streets lined with independent boutiques, a lively dining scene and stylish waterfront and rooftop bars. At its centre is the Venetian harbour, built between 1320 and 1356, now a cosmopolitan hub overlooked by its iconic lighthouse. A gentle stroll along the harbour reveals sweeping views of the Old Town and the White Mountains beyond. Nearby, the Giali Tzamisi, the oldest Muslim building in Crete, hosts cultural events and exhibitions.

A short distance away, Kalamaki offers a more relaxed pace, with a sandy beach, welcoming tavernas and a good selection of restaurants. Many beachfront spots add a thoughtful touch with a small glass of raki and a sweet treat after your meal. Regular bus services connect Kalamaki with Chania Old Town.

For a day of exploration, the Samaria Gorge in the White Mountains National Park is one of Crete’s most remarkable natural landmarks, stretching down to the Libyan Sea and home to rare wildlife, including the native kri-kri goat. The island’s celebrated beaches, including Balos, Falasarna and Elafonissi, are also within reach, each offering striking scenery and clear, shallow waters.
