Upstairs, the first bedroom includes a king-sized bed, boudoir, minibar, and a sleek en-suite with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom, located on the upper level, offers a king-sized bed, workspace, boudoir, and access to the villa’s signature feature: a private cave spa area carved into the rock, complete with a shower, heated plunge pool, and jacuzzi.

Outdoors, the terrace invites al fresco dining with panoramic sea views, sun beds, and a plunge pool, perfect for unwinding under the Aegean sky. A complimentary bottle of wine and pre-selected brunch on arrival adds a personal touch to your stay.

Astypalaia, the westernmost island of the Dodecanese, embodies classic Greek charm with its whitewashed villages, azure waters, and sunlit beaches. The island is divided into two sections, linked by a narrow isthmus that gives rise to its nickname, “The Butterfly Isle.” Milano Suite enjoys a prime position on the western side (Mesa Nisi), in the island’s capital, Astypalea.

Astypalea town is among the most picturesque in the Aegean, set on a promontory that forms two scenic bays. Dominating the skyline is the 13th-century Astypalea Castle, built by Venetian nobleman John Querini as protection against pirate raids. Along the path to the castle, eight traditional windmills stand in a striking row, uniquely designed with rotating roofs as well as sails.

The Archaeological Museum of Astypalaia presents a fascinating collection of artefacts spanning from the Prehistoric era to the Middle Ages. For nature enthusiasts, Drakos Cave is a captivating site, adorned with colourful stalactites and stalagmites and steeped in legend as a hiding place for pirate treasure.
