The small village of Aughavas is situated in South county Leitrim just nine miles from the town of Mohill. Aughavas provides a wonderful location to immerse yourself in peace and quiet with plenty of woodland areas and lush green countryside around you. The village takes its name from the waterfall on the stream which still flows down near the local church.

House is large. Very comfortable beds. Clean and comfortable in general. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of towels and hot water. This is our 2nd time staying here. Reported the ensuite shower 2 years ago for having very little water coming out of it. Unfortunately this hasn't been fixed. Just needs a new shower head or cleaning out. Lots of beautiful walks. Cloone, Keeldra lough, Ballinamore. Smyth's pub in Ballinamore has great food.

Really quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and generally had everything that we needed. Overall the property would benefit from de-cluttering and a bit of modernising! However, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning.

Great space, good parking. One of its best features is its peace and quiet, no traffic noise, just birdsong, and silence at night. Ample supply of towels and bedding. House is homely, warm and comfortable. Brilliant shower, (no bath). House has good WiFi and there is a good 5G signal. If you like dark skies, this is an excellent place to go, with low light pollution.
