It's a shame there is nothing in the garden to attract bees, butterflies or birds just very low cut grass. Loads of towels and hot water. Be careful of the hot taps if you have the immersion on as the water is absolutely boiling hot. TV needs to be updated but we didn't go to watch TV. It was a bit strange as the freezer was full of food and the fridge had half used jars. There was also clothes in one of the wardrobes. There are some beautiful walks around the lakes, canals and small country lanes nearby. Shops, pubs and restaurants are all with 10 to 20 minutes drive.

Will be looking at booking again for next year

No instructions given on how to use gas fire. Hall carpet was wet due to leaking water from tank in hot press. Bottom room had no headboard, neither bedside lamp was working, no curtains, and blind was broken so couldn't be let up or down. Have used Sykes for 6 years and first time we were disappointed with the property.
