Guests say

The White House in Carrick-on-Shannon is a spacious and welcoming holiday rental with a large garden, offering privacy and a variety of amenities including a games room. It is well-furnished and situated in a convenient location close to local attractions. While most guests had a pleasant stay, some noted issues with heating and maintenance.

Most reviews indicate that the property was clean and well-kept, with no specific complaints about cleanliness. However, due to the lack of explicit praise for cleanliness across all reviews, the score reflects a generally high standard with room for improvement.

The property is praised for its lovely location, privacy, and proximity to local amenities and attractions. It is described as being easy to find and close to the town, which suggests a favourable location for guests.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the house warm once heated. However, there were complaints about the size of a double room and the temperature upon arrival, which suggests that comfort levels may vary.

The property boasts a well-equipped kitchen and games room, but some guests reported issues with heating, showers, and outdoor lighting. The mixed feedback indicates that while the facilities are generally good, there is a need for better maintenance.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category, and the score is set to null.

Great hosts who are available if needed and provide plenty of information ahead of arrival. The house has pretty much anything you could need and great facilities in the village and local area. A great base that will allow to explore further afield should you wish.

We really enjoyed our stay at the White House. It is a very welcoming and homely house. The beds were very comfortable and the living rooms in the house spacious. The owner was super helpful and provided lots of information about the house before we arrived to help us to use the heating, TV, cooker etc.
