One of just three cottages in this private location, Lakeside is a cosy, well-equipped property, ideally situated for enjoying the nature and wildlife of Ireland. The cottage's private harbour makes it ideal for a spot of fishing, and with shared access to a play area and tennis court, there is something to keep everyone busy. This cottage may be booked in conjunction with property refs. 961798 and 961799, together they sleep 17.
The vibrant town of Ballinrobe is situated by the River Robe in County Mayo, close to Lough Corrib and Lough Mask. Dating back to the 1300s, it is thought to be the oldest town in South Mayo. The town now has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and pubs and its location makes it an ideal base to explore County Mayo and County Galway. There are a number of outdoor activities available in the area, from fishing on the nearby lakes to a round of golf on one of the many fine golf courses in the area. Further away and roughly a two-hour drive lies the National Park of Connemara with wonderful walks and breathtaking scenery. This is a wonderful region for a holiday at any time of year.

What a wonderful welcome and personal greeting from our hosts David and Helen. The house had everything you could possibly need ⦠even a blender when I made soup! They brought fresh raspberries from their garden and check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. And thatâs not even to mention the idyllic location on Lough Mask. When we tried, and failed, to set up the net in the tennis court it was magically fixed properly overnight. Unbelievable care and attention. I have never stayed in a place so thoughtfully organised. It was a perfect holiday. Thank you.

We loved our stay in this spacious, clean and well-presented cottage with all the commodities needed for a family. The play equipment and tennis court are only a bonus in these calm and peaceful surroundings right on the shores of the stunning Corrib. The owner is lovely and helpful and lives nearby if we needed anything. Would highly recommend.
