Traditionally decorated throughout, this Newport cottage has all the characteristics of an Irish cottage, with the small doors still remaining. This Newport cottage boasts two snug bedrooms, a well-equipped, fitted kitchen with dining area and an inviting sitting room, the perfect place to lounge by the fire and enjoy each other's company.
As you step outside your Newport cottage you will find nothing but rolling green fields and uninterrupted countryside so you can truly immerse yourself in the peace and tranquillity of Mayo. We very much enjoyed our stay here, and would fully recommend it to anyone who seeks a relaxing and rural Irish retreat. The scones and soda bread left for us on arrival were delicious. Excellent hosts and truly one of my favourite cottages. Hope to return to County Mayo again in the future!

Clean, well equipped and comfortable. To balance the isolation, the birdsong, especially night and early morning, was wonderful and so was the clarity of stars at night. Good base for exploring the splendid coast between Newport and Achill Island and easy for visiting the deilightful Westport.
