Plenty of space and the big garden makes it so private. Helpful and friendly property owner also.

The owners couldn't have been more generous and accommodating. The house was immaculately clean and tidy, and the facilities were fantastic. We were very kindly left some 'essentials' (including some treats!) upon our arrival after a long journey, which was greatly appreciated. There is loads of useful information in the house 'pack' about Sligo, including about local beaches and walks, even the menu for the local Chinese takeaway! There is a lovely pub within walking distance called Connolly's, and a little supermarket/newsagents which the kids walked to most days. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again; it's a beautiful part of the world. Highlights include swimming at Rosses Point, the fun challenges at Boda Borg at Lough Key, the walk up Knocknarea, finding beautiful Streedagh Beach and watching Martin and Mist (the Atlantic Sheepdogs) and a drive up to Killybegs in Co. Donegal and walk up Sleive League. There is so much to see and do around the NW of Ireland, so many fascinating places to visit, we'll have to come back! Thank you Clodagh and Kevin for a wonderful stay, your home is beautiful and we absolutely loved it.
