Errisbeg Cottage in Clifden offers a comfortable and well-equipped stay, with a welcoming bottle of wine and board games for entertainment. The property boasts a convenient location close to shops, pubs, and stunning beaches, ideal for excursions and swimming. Guests have enjoyed the snug accommodation and the garden, which is perfect for pets.
The cottage received mixed feedback on cleanliness. While some guests found it spotless, others mentioned it could be cleaner. The presence of squeaky beds and fusty wardrobes suggests room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to shops, pubs, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. It is considered very handy and convenient for guests looking to explore Clifden and the surrounding areas.
Guests have described the cottage as comfortable, snug, and relaxing, with a comfortable couch and a wood stove adding to the cosy atmosphere. However, there were mentions of squeaky beds, which could affect the comfort level for some.
The property is generally well-equipped, but there are some concerns about maintenance and the adequacy of kitchen equipment. An issue with an aspirator and a short lamp cord were noted, indicating some attention to detail is required.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident from the welcome bottle of wine and the provision of board games. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, guests should consider this a pleasant surprise rather than an expectation.
