The Irish language is widely spoken in Lettermullen because it is located in one of Ireland's Gaeltacht districts. There are beautiful sandy beaches and shorelines to explore, in addition to a unique 9-hole golf course on the island. Val and Bernie were great hosts and bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. Val brought us local lobsters, lent us a kayak and went out of his way to help us make the best of the area. What a beautiful scenic spot, lovely house and everyone we met was so friendly. A holiday we’ll always remember

Beautiful location. You need a car as it is very remote. The view is to die for.

Fitted out and maintained to an exceptional standard, we arrived to find fire lit etc. Local owners took a genuine interest in our stay. Couldn’t recommend highly enough
