The owner provided a travel cot, high chair and even put a stair gate up for us which was greatly appreciated. Fresh eggs, milk, tea, and biscuits left out on arrival

We stayed as a couple but the cottage has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets & would provide super value accommodation for a large group or family. We chose the back bedroom with en-suite to sleep in. Despite proximity to road it was very quiet & we slept well. The whole space is well laid out and the kitchen is well equipped. The cottage is well located for exploring the Connemara area which was our original reason for choosing. You can reach all the main points of interest like Kylemore Abbey, Clifden, ferry to Inishboffin, and Connemara National Park well within an hour. The scenery on route is breathtaking. Closer to home is Spiddal - one of our favourites and of course itâs only a short walk to the ferry port for a boat to the Arran Island - Inis Mor being our favourite day trip. The cottage has close by amenities like the Spa Shop which is open to late and a pub which is always a bonus. The owner had left some welcome items like biscuits, milk and eggs which is a very nice touch & well received. Iâd highly recommend this property & would stay again if visiting the area.
