Ideal for a family or a couple, this charming cottage is a fantastic base set just a drive of half an hour from Knock Airport. With its thatched roof, internal exposed beams and brick walls, the cottage is full of interesting features. The open plan living area has a comfortable seating area set in front of the electric stove which is set into a large fireplace. There is a dining area here to fit the whole group and this leads through into the kitchen where you can prepare delicious home-cooked meals. The two bedrooms have wooden floors and are a welcome retreat to retire to at the end of the day. Outside there is both a rear lawned garden and a front gravelled area which provides plenty of space for yourselves and the family pet to spend time. This tranquil base will be a delight to return to after spending your days exploring your surroundings. There are a number of loughs in the vicinity, many of which provide fantastic opportunities for fishing. Golfers will also be in their element with a course available at Castlerea which is only a fifteen minute drive away. The small and peaceful village of Bellanagare is a lovely holiday destination which provides a tranquil setting. There is a local shop and pub in the village and it is surrounded by miles of countryside which is waiting to be discovered. Nearby is the thriving town of Castlerea which is set around the River Suck and has a fantastic golf club. You will also find further shops and pubs which are ideal if you fancy a night off from cooking.
