Continuing through the property you're welcomed into the open-plan living/dining room, traditionally decorated with stained wood flooring and a grand mantlepiece surrounding the solid fuel stove, and fit with a large antique wooden dining table as well as a leather sofa and armchairs, providing a sociable space to gather with the group to plan your next adventure. The property boasts a second seating area in the kitchen/diner, where the designated chef can rustle up some tasty treats for the group as they sit around the dining table, taking center stage in the middle of the room, and toast to a fantastic holiday.

In the warmer months, head outside to the garden to indulge in a spot of alfresco dining, taking in the stunning views across the surrounding countryside and relishing in the tranquil atmosphere whilst the little ones entertain themselves with an exciting choice of toys and games in the playroom. As the night draws to a close and it's time to rest your head, choose between the three double bedrooms, all featuring a light and airy interior design and providing handy storage space to house your belongings. Servicing the bedrooms is the family bathroom, tiled throughout and fit with a bath with an overhead shower, giving you the choice between enjoying a quick rinse or a leisurely soak whilst you escape into the pages of a good book.

Located just a few miles away from the property is the small seaside village of Cliffoney, home to fantastic stretches of golden sand, where you will find the family-run Harrisons Bar and Restaurant, serving up fresh local produce as well as a large selection of locally sourced craft beers. The village is also home to Cliffoney Hall, a small village halls that hosting many leisure activities for the community, including concerts and farmers markets. Jump in the car and head to the lively town of Sligo, known for its literary heritage and rugged countryside, making sure to visit the medieval ruins of Sligo Abbey, home to ancient carved tombs and a 15th-century altar.

The town boasts an exciting selection of independent shopping opportunities as well as a range of bars and restaurants to indulge in a refreshing drink or a bite to eat with a view of Garvoge River. Avid outdoor adventurers can lace up their walking boots and tackle the hike to the summit of Benwhisken mountain, offering spectacular views over the coastal plains and across to the Atlantic ocean from the summit.     Mountain View is a most spacious comfortable holiday home with lots of creature comforts with spectacular mountain views and scenery We were made to feel so welcome on arrival by Chris and Jack Mountain View is perfectly located with plenty of walks and facilities within easy reach yet still maintaining the peace and quiet to take in the stunning views and have a truly restful nights sleep Beaches and walks on your doorstep Highly recommend
