Curraghboy is a just short drive away and here you will find two grocery stores and a pub. Travel three miles to Hudson Bay on the shores of Lough Ree to enjoy the many watersports and activities on offer. Take a day trip to Clonmacnoise monastic site along the banks of the River Shannon and return through the lovely town of Athlone, where the river meanders. Here you will find many shops, pubs and cafes. Why not take a leisurely boat trip, relaxing on the deck as the delightful sights pass you by? The small attractive town of Roscommon, is just 12 miles away, and has a large selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a varied programme at the Roscommon Arts Centre.
