Excellent communication from the hosts. The house itself is like a fairytale cottage, a short walk from the village, a 10 min drive to the beach and with everything you need for a relaxing trip away off the grid.

The house was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was no rubber mat in the shower, and myself and my husband slipped in there. There is supposed to be a washer/dryer, but it's just a washing machine. The TV is not the one seen on the pictures or a box of any description. There was no WIFI, or hardly any TV channels. I know you don't go on holiday to watch the telly, but of an evening it would have been nice to maybe watch a film. The owner said he was having a problem with Sky, but there wasn't a box in the building! Also, I rang the owner to say the ferry was late in, he advised us where to go for milk etc, so obviously he hadn't left even a small bottle of milk, which I found surprising as he knows the ferry times. I'm aware they don't have to leave us anything, but this is the first time it's actually ever happened. Luckily I don't rely on the owners to supply anything. So that's our honest review.

Walking distance to Fethard on Sea and only 4 minutes drive to grange beach which we loved. So well furnished and comfortable. Kitchen had every utensil you could wish for. The outside area was lovely with outdoor tables and chairs provided. Lovely garden area with trees and plenty playing space for kids. Aidan and his family were welcoming and helpful during our stay.
