Dolmen Cottage is highly praised for its tranquil, scenic location in the heart of the Burren, making it an excellent base for exploring County Clare. Guests appreciate the spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable interior, as well as the large, secure garden ideal for families and dogs. The owners are frequently commended for their helpfulness and warm hospitality. While most reviews highlight cleanliness and good facilities, a few mention occasional lapses in cleaning and some dated items. The absence of WiFi is noted, but many guests found this a welcome opportunity to disconnect and relax.

Most guests found the cottage clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with several specifically praising its cleanliness. However, a minority reported issues such as dirty kitchenware, floors, and occasional damp or flies, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is consistently described as peaceful, scenic, and ideal for exploring the Burren and nearby attractions. Its remote yet accessible setting is a major highlight for guests.

Guests frequently mention the cottage's comfort, cosiness, and suitability for families and pets. Some minor suggestions for improved seating and softer sofas were noted, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen essentials, laundry facilities, and a spacious garden. Some guests noted the need for updates to certain items and occasional maintenance issues, but most found the facilities more than adequate.

The owners are often praised for their friendliness, prompt assistance, and thoughtful touches such as chocolates on arrival. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage is situated in the heart of the Burren and is in a very secluded spot. The location is absolutely peaceful, the cottage is very large and spacious, and stylishly furnished. Our landlord, Brian, was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Fairly easy to get to from each direction we needed, and pleasant and safe! The only misunderstanding was how the first door locked and unlocked from the outside. But the split doors were neat! We truly appreciated the washer and separate dryer! I’d recommend this home to others for sure

It is perfectly situated in the heart of the Burren, convenient for exploring the area. It is comfortable, warm, and very well equipped with everything we needed. There is a private, gated garden area all around the house with space to sit outside and ample parking. A lovely holiday cottage, and I hope to return some time!
