Above the living room/diner, there is a unique mezzanine level which is home to a further double bedroom and a sofa, perfect if your party required more flexible sleeping arrangements, with a final double bedroom accessed from the main staircase with delightful views over the countryside. Head into the lively town of Cahersiveen and browse the many lovely shops and cafés, as well as admiring the excellent buildings all around; from the The Old Barracks, the Daniel O'Connel memorial and the ancient stone forts, there is lots to see. The Beentee Loop is a nine kilometre walk taking you to the top of the Beentee Mountain, a perfect spot for experiencing the magnificent scenery of the area overlooking Cahersiveen and Valentia. Further walking can be found just outside Cahersiveen at Cnoc na dTobar, 690 metres high, it's a sacred pilgrim site and great for all ranges of ability.
From the harbour, head on a thrilling sea angling trip, with these waters host to annual events and even championships, you can learn from experts with years of experience! Along the Ring of Kerry you can find a wealth of activities to enjoy, one of them being horse trekking, head to The Ring of Kerry Equestrian Centre, where you can take an idyllic trek along the beach, creating unforgettable holiday memories.
