Guests have praised the Wild Atlantic Way Country Cottage for its comfortable and cosy atmosphere, outstanding views, and welcoming host, Marie. Many enjoyed the scenic walks and the pet-friendly environment. The cottage's location is ideal for exploring local attractions, and guests appreciated the thoughtful touches like Christmas decorations and free passes to the Kerry Cliffs.
The cottage is described as well-loved and spotlessly clean by most guests, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. However, one mention of a damp smell and uncleaned oven suggests there may be occasional oversights.
The location is highly praised for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions like the Kerry Cliffs, Portmagee, and Valentia Island. It's considered an excellent base for exploring the area.
Guests found the cottage comfortable and cosy, particularly noting the multi-fuel stove and homely atmosphere. However, some guests mentioned that the decor could be updated, and one noted that heat did not reach all rooms.
There is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance. While some guests mentioned well-equipped aspects and a cosy sitting room, specific references to the overall state of facilities and maintenance are lacking.
Marie's hospitality is frequently mentioned, with thoughtful gestures like providing Christmas decorations and free passes to the Kerry Cliffs. However, it should be noted that such gifts are gestures of kindness and may not be guaranteed for all stays.

Unable to find instructions for dishwasher. Would have been helpfull to know there is a resident cat. There was dog poo on the front lawn when we arrived which wasnt cleared up all week that we were there.

Be mindful that you must pay for electricity when you check out, and only heating is available with electricity. You can light a stove in the sitting room but heat would not reach the rest of the house. Damp smell in rooms and rotten radiators etc. Oven has never been cleaned. Marie is nice.
