There is a bar just two minutes' walk from this Dingle cottage, offering an a la carte menu as well as a varied takeaway menu, while the quaint village of Castlegregory is just a short distance away and is sure to charm with a varied selection of shops and pubs where a friendly welcome is assured.

Situated on the north side of the Dingle Peninsula, the coastal village of Castlegregory is home to a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. This pretty little settlement provides access to the longest beach in Ireland, which stretches from the nearby Maharees Peninsula to Cloghane village – a distance of 12 miles. Castlegregory Golf and Fishing Club is just a short distance from the village centre whilst pony trekking, scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, canoeing and waterskiing are all available on the Maharees and in the surrounding area. The three star Harbour House Dive Centre and Jamie Knox water sports are both within easy reach and offer unrivalled facilities.

The cottage is lovely, great facilities and very comfortable. Great location for the beaches around Castlegregory and the pub nearby serves great food. This is a real find and I hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and so peaceful. The place felt calm and private, just what we needed for a proper break. Everything was really well equipped, from the kitchen to the little touches around the house, which made it so comfortable and easy to settle in. The open fire was a real highlight, especially in the evenings. It added such a cosy feel and made the whole place even more inviting. The facilities were spot-on and clearly well thought out. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care into making sure guests have everything they need.

Accessed by a very sharp and narrow turn off the road but you get used to it. Well-equipped, with utility area for putting the dog stuff. Enclosed back courtyard but if one of the side fences were a gate it would be much better - the front door opens straight into the property and a sandy/wet dog has to be taken through the house! Beds very comfortable and the rooms a good size. Great location - 4 minutes drive to the nearest beach.
