The Farmhouse is a charming property dating back to 1740, part of a traditional farmhouse, tastefully furnished, decorated and full of character. On entrance, guests are greeted by an attractive sitting room with open fire and antique furniture, while the cosy bedrooms offer delightful views of the garden and stunning surrounding countryside. Ideal for exploring the area, coastline and for getting away from everyday life.
Dunmanway is located near to the interesting town of Skibbereen, which has a superb golf course, great fishing opportunities, gourmet restaurants, art and craft shops and the fascinating Skibbereen Heritage Centre. Bantry, Rosscarbery, Kinsale and Macroom are all within easy reach, as is Lough Hyne Marine Nature Reserve, spectacular countryside and soft sandy beaches. Dunmanway is a beautiful location perfectly placed for exploring this delightful part of Ireland.

Beautifull furniture. Very nice spot to look around and hear the birds. The care , the interest and the humour of the owners gave us a very good mood. We would like te see them again. They have interesting information about what is worthwhile seeing.

Especially the wifi. I would recommend the property, but with a 'word of warning' about the wifi and the (lack of) 4g/5g. Our children and (elderly) parents weren't able to contact us several times, so that's something people might want to know beforehand. Having said that the owners couldn't be nicer people, they're attentive and so, so friendly. A better wifi router would make it a 10 out of 10 for us.
