Wonderful, peaceful location for a quiet interlude. Probably the most impressive library of any vacation rental we have seen. The book on the history of the north Mizen area was particularly interesting. The caretaker, was terrific.

In general we were very pleased with the property. Our principal concerns were around the standard of broadband - I was doing some work and needed better coverage for a Zoom call, the drain on one of the showers (wet room) overflowed and came into the adjoining bedroom. The carpet on the stairs leading to the dormitory / table tennis room had come away from the stairs and was potentially dangerous. Catherine McCarthy was very helpful during our visit and came out to us one evening when there was a power failure (main fuse blown) and restored our power.
