The town of Ballybofey is situated in the centre of County Donegal and rests on the banks of the River Finn. Ballybofey is the 'twin town' of Stranorlar and the two are often mentioned together as they are separated by a small bridge across the river, famed for its quality trout and salmon fishing.

(Owners had difficulty with the dishwasher * owners very pleasant and helpful * problems a couple of times actually getting in (lock problems) - no long term problem * cooker settings problem a couple of times. We think there were overnight power cuts which reset some of the settings. We did resolve the 'problem' * some of the saucepans were a bit dangerous -loose handles; no kitchen scissors but lots of other utensils * lots of food and drink left behind; sounds good but some were well past their sell by date. *minor point on the directions to the accommodation - because of new building, the accommodation is now the 4th turn after the school (NOT 2nd) * the accommodation was clean and tidy and comfortable; excellent views All in all we enjoyed our break in County Donegal. Commeen is central to the whole county so very conveniently located

Once again all arrangements easily made. Very well equipped kitchen, great power showers and comfortable beds. The view from front of house is amazing and very conveniently situated for trips to Rossnowlagh and Bundoran, especially for the grandchildren. Highly recommend this accommodation for families.

It was super clean, warm, more than meeting our expectations and the kitchen was so well stocked. We really hope to return again soon as it felt so comfortable, like home.
