Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with comfortable beds and a well-maintained garden. One review mentioned dirty cutlery, but this seems to be an isolated incident.

The location is highly praised for its scenic views, proximity to beaches, and local amenities like pubs and shops. The secure garden and peaceful surroundings are also appreciated.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the fire lit. However, some guests mentioned a lack of shower rails and uncomfortable seating, which suggests room for improvement.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host that would warrant a score in this category. The host's warm welcome is noted, but without reference to gifts.

Situated in County Donegal near to the famous Malin Head, Ballygorman is the most northern village in Ireland, perfect for taking in the incredible scenery of the North Atlantic ocean. Home to just under 250 residents, it is a truly unique area with many opportunities for exploring this amazing headland. Found in the village are some pubs, one of which holds the title of the 'most northerly pub in Ireland', Farren's pub, as well as a convenience store and post office. At the very tip of the Malin Head headland is Banba's Crown, named after a mythical goddess of Ireland, built by the British Admirality in 1805, and it is visited by thousands of tourists every year. Another big attraction to this remote place comes from the fact that the blockbuster hit Star Wars: The Last Jedi filmed scenes in this very special place, with Luke Skywalker (actor Mark Hamill) even popping into Farren's pub.

Overall our stay was very good. The wi-if worked well and the lounge and bedroom furniture was comfortable. A fridge freezer within the property would have improved our experience rather than the one in the garage. The outdoor area was good for our small Yorkie and the location was fantastic with a convenient shop not too far away. The nearby restaurant/pub weren’t dog friendly inside and the weather ruled out dining outside. We weren’t confident using the woodburning stove in the property and if we had stayed during a colder part of the year we would probably have spent a fair few euros on the oil fired central heating coin meter top up to keep us warm, but overall would definitely recommend to others.
