Guests say

Traeannagh Bay House is highly praised for its stunning views, modern amenities, and comfortable furnishings. Guests consistently commend the property's cleanliness, the serene location, and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. While there are a few minor maintenance issues mentioned, the overwhelming majority of reviews reflect a luxurious and memorable stay, with many guests eager to return.

The property is frequently described as clean, immaculate, and well-presented. One review mentioned stained sheets, but this appears to be an isolated incident in the context of otherwise glowing reports about the property's cleanliness.

The location is consistently lauded for its picturesque setting and spectacular sea views. Guests appreciate the tranquillity and the proximity to local beaches and town, contributing to a serene holiday experience.

Comfort is a highlight, with numerous guests finding the house very comfortable and the beds particularly cosy. The spaciousness and modern design contribute to the overall comfort, although one review suggested that the heating could be too warm at night.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the house being described as well-equipped and modern. Some guests suggested improvements such as additional towels and clearer instructions for high-tech appliances. A blocked toilet and a few other minor maintenance issues were noted.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as a welcome bottle of wine, there is not enough information to assess consistency across all stays. Therefore, while individual experiences reflect a high level of thoughtfulness, it cannot be guaranteed for every guest.

The views were stunning, particularly as we were blessed with probably one of the best week’s weather of the year. I have spinal issues and choose properties that appear to have comfortable furniture, very often I’m disappointed but on this occasion the sofas and beds were great. The owners have created a beautiful home and provide pretty much everything that you would need. There’s plenty to see and do in the area, lovely walks and beaches close to the house and pretty good shops and restaurants in Dungloe which is a short drive away. If you want somewhere that you can completely relax in peace and quiet you won’t be disappointed. We couldn’t get the TV to operate but decided not to bother contacting the owner about it as it was nice to just read and chat and soak in the views that didn’t disappoint thanks to the sunshine. We’d love to return some time in the future as this was a great find.

The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you could need on holiday, apart from a working plug in the en suite. The biggest problem was the lack of instruction booklets for anything. We managed to download some manuals for kitchen white goods but didn't manage to do anything about the blind that didn't work. It would also be useful if there was a name sign on the house, it was only because my daughter recognised it from the pictures that we found it first time.

A very modern and comfortable house . It had everything that we needed. The area that the house is in is spectacular. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay in this house.
