Guests say

Guests consistently praise the Blue Stack House for its stunning views, peaceful setting, and spaciousness. The property is lauded for its cleanliness, the friendliness of the hosts, and its suitability as a base for exploring Donegal. While some minor suggestions for improvements are made, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Reviews frequently mention the property being clean and well-maintained. The high standard of cleanliness is a recurring theme, suggesting that guests are generally very satisfied with the tidiness of the cottage.

The location is celebrated for its tranquillity, scenic views, and proximity to Donegal town and local attractions. Some guests note the remoteness and the drive on single track roads, but this is often seen as a positive aspect contributing to the property's charm.

The property is described as comfortable and spacious, with comfortable beds mentioned in one review. However, there is a negative comment about the mattresses being worn, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are generally praised, with the property described as well-equipped. Some guests have made suggestions for additional items and minor maintenance issues, such as a non-working DVD player and the need for better mattresses, which slightly affects the score.

While the reviews reflect positively on the hosts' helpfulness and friendliness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would fall under this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Our family loved every minute of it. The owners very friendly. We loved the experience.

The House has everything one needs for a relaxing holiday. Only item for improvement would be the mattresses in the downstairs twin-bedroom. The springs there poke in to your back (specially for adults or heavy children)

This property is remote and is good for anyone that likes walking or for touring donegal. The road to it is rough in places with grass down the centre. Yes we would go back there again we loved the peace and quiet of its surroundings
