Villa Del Cantone occupies a prime, hillside position near a coastal hamlet, overlooking the rocky cliffs of the Amalfi Coast and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Sleeping up to nine guests, two families or a group of friends can celebrate every minute together in this luxurious villa and private pool.

Surrounded by the Mediterranean trees, clifftop views, hidden coves and turquoise sea of the Punta Campanella’s Natural Marine Reserve, staying at Villa Del Cantone is heaven on earth for nature lovers and those in search of escapism. You’re only fourty minutes to Sorrento (18km), fifty minutes to Positano (25km) and the Isle of Capri can be reached by boat trip from the local marina or ferry from Sorrento port.

Villa Del Cantone has an idyllic location, nestled in amongst ancient olive groves, with rocky cliffs on three sides and the most spectacular views out to sea. You have total privacy here, with pretty gardens, dining terraces and an indulgent pool area making the most of your romantic setting. A perfectly-rustic outdoor pizza oven, available for use when a private chef is booked, and built-in barbecue run alongside the generous al fresco dining terrace, which leads into the villa, and well-equipped modern kitchen. As well as an internal dining room, spacious living room and bathroom, you have a total of five bedrooms, with an additional sofa bed in the living room. The master-suite boasts superb views, direct garden access, en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. The second bedroom sleeps three and features lovely views, glazed doors out to the garden and air-conditioning. In the annexe you will find 2 additional bedrooms.

Back outdoors, your private pool is ten metres long and just waiting for your morning swim. The shaped wooden deck is complete with sun loungers, pool-side shower and natural shade thanks to the mature trees in the garden, which offers yet more loungers for lazy afternoons, staring out across your magical view. Beyond the coastline, you can see Li Galli islands and your eye is taken as far as the horizon.

Villa Del Cantone’s spectacular location doesn’t just overlook the sea, it’s also in the heart of the picturesque Punta Campanella Natural Marine Reserve. The headland is renowned for breath-taking clifftop walks, ancient olive groves, tucked-away coves and crystal-clear waters, ideal for snorkellers, divers and swimmers.

This stretch of the Amalfi Coast boasts an embarrassment of riches when it comes to bays, coves and beaches, and has been attracting holidaymakers since the Roman times. Your local hamlet minutes away is where you’ll find a sprinkling of shops, cafes, restaurants, a popular beach and a walk which leads you to an exquisite bay. Cool your feet off in the water before heading back to the hamlet, it’s uphill for less than one kilometre.

The hidden beach, caves and restaurant at Recommone Bay can be reached via a footpath leading from the local beach. If you fancy a spot for lunch while you’re here, try spaghetti alla Nerano; a delicious combination of pasta, cheese and aubergine.

Day trips to Sorrento are only about half an hour away in the car, and from here, you can take a ferry across to the magical Isle of Capri. Back on the Amalfi Coast, the glamorous coastal towns of Positano and Ravello offer dizzying views of the Tyrrhenian Sea from picture-perfect gardens and clifftop terraces. As an alternative to driving along steep, windy roads – although exhilarating – you can take boat tours of the coast from the local marina, which sail to many of this coastline’s spectacular sights and beautiful towns.
