Located on the hills above Sorrento, Villa Olimpia is an elegant 19th century villa in Campania, equidistant to Amalfi and Sorrento coasts. You’ll love the two large kitchens, including a wood-burning pizza oven.
You’ll find Villa Olimpia in charmingly typical Italian village, between the gulfs of Naples and Salerno. Visit Sorrento’s historic town centre and 14th century church, find a limoncello tasting and eat fresh seafood near the harbour. For amazing views of the caves, grottos and coastline of Capri or the Amalfi coast, schedule a boat hire.
You will certainly have the opportunity to do things and eat well, with a dozen bars, cafes and restaurants, some of impressively high quality, including a Michelin stared Don Alfonso. Beautiful sunsets, rugged cliffs and sweeping views this area one of Italy’s real treasures.
Sorrento attracts many visitors, but its Old Town remains as enchanting as ever, with colourful and central Piazza Tasso as good a place as any to get your bearings and enjoy a real cup of Italian coffee. The clear turquoise waters and golden beaches are another fine reason to visit Sorrento, along with many cultural offerings – be they musical or cinematic events, or museums keeping the city’s long and eventful history alive.
All sorts of tours and excursions are available to give you the full Italian experience, to take you further afield to the islands of Capri and Ischia, or see Vesuvius or its near neighbour, Naples.
The wider area has yet more to inspire you, with the beautiful beaches and bays of the Amalfi Coast as numerous as they are delightful – those of nearby Marina di Puolo and Massa Lubrense, the legendary ‘Land of Sirens’, are surely worth a trip.

Villa Olimpia is an ancient and noble residence that has been recently renovated with all modern comforts. The villa offers 11 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Our experience at the villa for our wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views—perched on top of the mountain, you could see everything. It truly felt like paradise. The villa’s grounds were meticulously maintained. A standout part of our experience was the exceptional staff, especially Giovanni. As Americans unfamiliar with the area, we were so grateful for his guidance. He went above and beyond with recommendations, arranged transportation seamlessly, and ensured that every detail was taken care of. His warmth and professionalism made us feel like we were in the best hands from start to finish. The living quarters were comfortable and cozy, and the food—outstanding. From delicious meals to the perfect cup of coffee, every culinary experience was a delight. The staff was always friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. The location of the villa was perfect—just a short walk to the charming small town at the end of the road. It was wonderful to be able to explore and enjoy the local culture every day. However, a word of caution: there are no sidewalks, so you’ll need to be careful walking along the road. That said, we walked into town daily and loved every minute of it! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding. We left with hearts full of gratitude and already planning our next visit. This villa will be a part of our lives forever, and we hope to return for anniversaries year after year. Highly, highly recommend!

Each detail of the villa—from the beautifully kept grounds to the stunning views of both bays—added to the magic of our week.
