The ground floor entrance to Azteca Apartment has an impressive marble hallway which leads to an old-fashioned, wood and mirrored lift with built-in seating to whisk you up to your holiday home. Azteca Apartment is effortlessly elegant, with tall ceilings, double wooden doors, ornate tiled floors, sparkling chandeliers, glistening gilt mirrors, and classical art adorning the walls.

The apartment is just fourteen kilometres from Rome's international Ciampino Airport, which can be reached either by taxi or a direct train ride. The central Roma Termini train station is five minutes to Spagna, the nearest metro station; hop into a cab, or pre-book a transfer with the concierge team. Go to the outskirts of the city and cross the Old Appian Way to discover the hidden treasures of the catacombs. If you fancy a day trip out of Rome, the pretty town of Tivoli is only thirty kilometres away, where you can visit Hadrian's Villa and the exquisite Villa D'Este.
