Villa Corte is a relaxed countryside villa near located just south of the well known town of Modica, offering a peaceful base for exploring south-eastern Sicily’s baroque towns, beaches and rural landscapes. Villa Corte sits in the countryside near Scicli, one of south-eastern Sicily’s beautiful baroque towns and part of the Val di Noto unesco World Heritage area. This is a peaceful rural setting, with countryside views and the sandy beaches of Donnalucata around 7km away, making it easy to combine relaxed poolside days with trips to the coast.
Local shops, restaurants and banks are around 2km from the villa, while Scicli’s weekly market takes place just 1km away on Tuesdays. The area is well placed for exploring Sicily’s characterful south-east, from the historic streets of Ragusa Ibla, around 30km away, to the fishing village of Marzamemi, the harbour at Pozzallo and the classical sights of Syracuse. Golf at Donnafugata, horse riding and diving are also within reach, giving guests plenty of ways to enjoy the region.
