Villa Aiala dates back to the XVIII century, located in the picturesque Crete Senesi, just half an hour from Siena in the picturesque Italian region of Tuscany.

Originally two large farmhouses, the renovation has been particularly well done with all modern amenities and rustic furnishings giving the villa real character and charm. The property sleeps 30 guests comfortably across 5 apartments, all with their own bathroom and kitchen, giving everyone their own space and privacy. The main farmhouse has plenty of common areas for everyone to come together and share meals or enjoy a game of pool. 

The property features extraordinary 360° views of rolling green hills and dramatic mountain ranges and the barbecue area is the perfect spot to take it all in with plenty of space for lounging and socialising.  

Around 200 meters from the house, through a grove of cypress trees, guests will arrive at a large swimming pool with hydro-massage and a sensational thermal water pool.

There are plenty of ways to keep the kids entertained with a playground, bowling green, ping pong table, snooker room, mountain bikes, volleyball net and football field all available on the property.

Those seeking an active holiday will find incredible hiking and cycling paths to explore.

A short drive away…

Asciano (6 km) is perched high on a hilltop with two of the best small museums in Tuscany. The Museo d’Arte Sacra contains an exquisite 15th-century Birth of the Virgin and polychrome wooden Annunciation and the Palazzo Corboli has incredible rooms frescoed with stunning allegorical cycles. There’s also a striking Romanesque church, Sant'Agata, and if you enquire in the Ancient Francini Naldi de Munari Pharmacy, the resident doctor may show you a Roman first century mosaic floor. 

Siena (27 km) - For those seeking fantastic food and spectacular art Siena makes a great day trip with a plethora of fabulous restaurants and Gothic architecture. Rivalling Florence for Renaissance palazzi and art, Siena’s churches, galleries and museums could keep you busy for weeks.

Arezzo (30 km) – Stunning art and architecture abound in this uncrowded city, home to the beautiful frescoes of Piero della Francesca.

The entire residence sleeps 30 with 5 add on beds. It is composed of five apartments (Costanza, Cecilia, Chiara, Laura, Alice) and one large communal room with a kitchen on the ground floor.

The swimming pool and spa are 100 metres away from the accommodation and are reached via a lovely avenue of cypress trees. The pools are reserved exclusively for the guests.
