Bluebird on Snowmass - Ohakune Holiday Home

About this property

Fancy soaking in a spa pool marvelling at Mt Ruapehu, enjoying a slice of serenity after a day exploring? Or perhaps you’d like to snuggle up next to the fire with a freshly brewed coffee or glass of wine on a cold wet day? Well, the cosy, four-bedroom Bluebird on Snowmass Ohakune Holiday Home can offer you just that, and so much more.

With plenty of space for the whole family or a group of friends, and an open plan living-dining area plucked straight from a glossy magazine, Bluebird on Snowmass is an ideal holiday home for your next getaway to the central North Island’s adventure playground. A gas fireplace keeps you toasty warm in winter, inviting you to put your feet up with a book, watch Netflix on the large TV, or even battle it out on the Xbox gaming console! The kids will enjoy playing together with the stack of games and toys available, and the WIFI means you can stay connected with your friends too.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen at Bluebird on Snowmass has everything you’ll need to self-cater your holiday or entertain your family and friends. With the huge dining table, the island with its bar stool seating, and even a high chair, there’s room for everyone to share a meal. Clean-up is also a breeze thanks to the dishwasher (hooray)!

Bluebird on Snowmass comfortably sleeps up to nine guests across its four bedrooms, including two master bedrooms each with an ensuite. The remaining two rooms each feature a set of bunk beds, one with an additional single bed, and the other a TV and entertainment bundle, making it an ideal spot for the littler family members to hang out. A bathroom with double vanity and shower, as well as a separate guest toilet, provide ample services for everyone.

Just like you after an epic day on the slopes or trails, your gear also needs a cosy place to spend the night! Bluebird on Snowmass boasts a drying room, as well as a full laundry with washing machine and dryer.

The outdoor area at this Ohakune Holiday Home offers plenty of space to soak up the sun on its expansive deck. Fire up the BBQ for dinner while you watch the kids jumping on the trampoline, or pull back the cover on the spa pool and indulge in a well-deserved soak at sunset.

Here at Bluebird on Snowmass the quiet location gives you that real holiday feel, but you’re also only a short distance from the main attractions the area offers. The Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park is just five minutes on foot, and an extra five minutes will find you in the town centre with its eateries, shops and gear rental outlets. Jump in the car, and in just a few minutes you can reach Central Junction or the Tongariro National Park walking trails, and in an hour you’ll find yourself at the slopes of Mt Ruapehu.

If you’re in search of a cosy, warm winter wonderland, or simply a home base to enjoy everything the beautiful region has to offer, look no further than Bluebird on Snowmass.

Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis.
