About this property

Villa Brenjinho offers a contemporary retreat set within the natural beauty of Comporta’s cork-oak forests. Designed with a low profile and constructed beneath the tree line, the villa blends modern architecture with earthy materials, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out.

Everything here is set across a single level, with wide, open-plan interiors, polished concrete floors, and clean-lined furnishings giving the space a calm, confident feel. Floor-to-ceiling openings draw in natural light and open onto the surrounding terraces, where timber screens and seating areas allow for quiet moments or sociable afternoons in equal measure.

The heart of the villa is a striking double-height living area, overlooked by a mezzanine snug. A sleek wood burner adds a seasonal touch, while the adjoining kitchen, with its exposed storage and contemporary finish, makes cooking a pleasure. Four bedrooms follow the same pared-back aesthetic, all with direct access to the outside and a generous master suite that opens to the terrace with an indoor-outdoor shower experience.

Guests also enjoy use of a shared infinity pool tucked under the trees - a perfect place to cool off after exploring the surrounding woodland.

Villa Brenjinho sits in the calm of Comporta’s rural landscape, surrounded by pine trees and cork oaks, yet only a short drive from some of the region’s most celebrated beaches. Praia do Pego is just 6km away - a wide stretch of golden sand backed by low dunes and a few laid-back restaurants perfect for a relaxed lunch or watching the sunset over dinner. Nearby Praia do Carvalhal is a favourite for surfing, with board rentals and lessons available, all set against a backdrop of wildflowers, rice paddies, and open sky.

The villa is also well placed for exploring Comporta Village to the north. Though understated, it’s home to a growing collection of boutiques and concept stores, along with relaxed eateries serving fresh local produce. Try Gomes Casa de Vinhos & Petiscos for wine and small plates in a friendly, unpretentious setting, or book ahead for a slow lunch at Mar d'Arrozal in Quinta da Comporta.

Lisbon is under an hour away by car - ideal for a cultural day trip. Expect sweeping views, tiled facades, and winding streets dotted with galleries, cafés, and markets. Don’t leave without trying a warm pastel de nata from a local bakery.
