Casa Vinte is set in the sought-after Comporta region, close to the village of Carvalhal and within easy reach of some of this stretch of Alentejo coastline’s best-known beaches. Praia do Carvalhal and Praia do Pego offer long expanses of Atlantic sand, while the surrounding area is characterised by pine forests, rice fields and low-key coastal living.
Carvalhal has a good choice of restaurants and everyday amenities, while several popular beach restaurants and clubs can be found along the nearby coast. Comporta village is also an easy drive away, with further restaurants, cafés and independent shops to explore.
Days here can be as relaxed or active as you choose, from swimming and surfing to horse riding along the coast or simply lingering over seafood by the beach. Lisbon and its international airport are around a 90-minute drive away, making Casa Vinte well placed for combining a coastal stay with time in the Portuguese capital.
