On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of prep space and appliances, as well as a large living and dining room with direct access to the garden and pool area. There is a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are a further four bedrooms, three with double beds and one with twin beds, all with en suite bathrooms. All five bedrooms are comfortable and charmingly decorated, and the bathrooms are all well-equipped and finished to a high standard.

With a large garden and a large private pool, guests will be in absolute heaven relaxing outside at Villa Loula. Around the large private swimming pool, guests will find no shortage of sun loungers where they can relax and read a good book. There is also an outdoor BBQ/dining area, where guests can prepare and enjoy alfresco meals. Tróia beach is a mere 200m away; it is so close that it is possible to buy fresh fish from the local fishermen. With fantastic facilities and beautiful beaches just a stones throw away, as well as the city of Lisbon in such close proximity, guests are spoilt for choice at Villa Loula. It is rare to find such a beautiful holiday villa that is so close to the beach and a historic city.

Located in Tróia, a flawless peninsula that attracts visitors for its golden sands and crystal-clear waters, Villa Loula is a must visit for those beach lovers, with multiple wonderful beaches surrounding the region. Tróia Beach is the perfect place to take the family for a day out by the sea, as the waters are calm and clear and ideal for swimming. The sands are immaculate and the views of both the ocean and Sado River are stunning. Guests can enjoy activities such as windsurfing and snorkelling, or simply just relax whilst the children play on the beach. It is also possible to take a boat trip out to try and spot the pod of dolphins that are known to congregate in the area.

Tróia is also a great location to eat delicious fresh fish, trying your hand at golf on the Tróia golf course (one of the best golf courses in Europe) or seeing the peninsula’s Roman Ruins which date all the way back to the 1st Century.

Villa Loula is only 10km from the rice-farming village of Comporta which is widely regarded as a great discreet escape for holidaymakers who want true peace and quiet, with only one quaint little beach bar that provides a much-needed watering hole. Situated on the Alentejo coast, Comporta is home to a rice museum, that represents the region’s history with the food. The museum building itself was previously a rice factory before being restored in 2006 and today is a haven of great food available for visitors to try; savoury rice plates, fresh fish and meat, delectable desserts and fine wines.

Lisbon itself is a vibrant and colourful city with a fascinating history; the town is rich with museums, monuments and a lively waterfront with bars and many restaurants showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary architecture.
