Completely renovated in 2007, this elegant holiday home offers a relaxed atmosphere throughout, with stylish furnishings adding to the appeal of this house. The villa offers four spacious double bedrooms and a single room across two floors. On the ground floor, you will find two twin bedrooms and the single room, which share a bathroom, as well as the master suite, with a double bed and en-suite jacuzzi bath! This spacious ground floor also offers the sociable living areas, with a fabulous, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, perfect for enjoying some family meals. There is also a separate dining area, a cosy, atmospheric snug room and a lounge where you can spend some quality time with your loved ones. The final double bedroom can be found on the upper floor, boasting an en-suite bathroom and a picturesque terrace overlooking the beautiful hillside. The finishes throughout the house give it a modern style, but retain the authentic, traditional flavour of the island, with the Sabina wooden roof and large wooden doors.

As you step outside the charming villa, the magic continues, with a beautiful terrace surrounded by lovely views. The garden boasts olive and fruit trees, and the salt-water swimming pool glistens in the centre of the terrace, offering the perfect opportunity to cool off on hot summer days. With a lovely covered porch, barbecue and al-fresco dining area, it is easy to spend all day outside! Whether you enjoy lounging by the pool, playing on the ping-pong table, exploring the garden or cooking a storm on the barbecue, there is something for everyone!

The endearing village of Santa Gertrudis is very close to Villa Trudis. The whitewashed church and tree lined square retain traditional charm and character. There’s an abundance of fabulous restaurants and pavement cafes, luring visitors into the shade for a drink or to sample Jamon Serrano and Manchego cheese for lunch. Pull up a seat, watch the world go by and relax into Santa Gertrudis’ easy going ambience. Shoppers will love exploring the mix of modern and traditional shops in and around La Plaza. Find gifts, souvenirs, clothes and craft, as well as art galleries and local food.

For a day out at the beach, drive ten kilometres down to the coast and enjoy sampling a variety of coves and golden stretches of sand. Talamanca beach, near Ibiza Town, is at the centre of Ibiza’s iconic beach-club scene. Cala Longha, further along the coast, is one of Ibiza’s largest beaches. Measuring two hundred metres by one-hundred metres wide, it’s a family-friendly arc of golden sand, bars and restaurants, beach activities, children’s playground and sun loungers for hire.

On the northern coast, Puerto de San Miguel is worthy of a day trip. As well as a beautiful sandy beach, with gorgeous clear waters for swimming and snorkelling, you also have a diving school, bars, shops and one of the best fish restaurants on the island. Port Balansat is just off the beach and patronised by locals and visitors alike. Follow the local’s lead and try Bullit de Peix; a traditional Ibizan fish dish.

Back at Villa Trudis, why not celebrate another day of bliss with a glass or two of the locally produced Malvasian wine? Your only problem being, which delightful terrace to choose, for sitting and admiring the sunset!
