Villa Vaumera is situated just under 15 minutes away from the centre of Pollensa, a location that is continuously praised for its diverse collection of iconic landmarks. La Fira is an off-beat festival that works tirelessly to celebrate the region’s long history of trade. This event was first formed in the 18th century and continues to be a pivotal part of the region’s popular culture. As such, guests are free to explore each stall in-depth, purchasing a range of archaic goods such as woven hats and bags. In turn, guests have the chance to deepen their knowledge of this area and explore its nuances from an entirely new perspective. La Fira usually occurs on the second Sunday in November and continues to the following Tuesday.

Pollensa Museum is one of the finest tourist attractions in the area and can be found just over 10 minutes away from the villa. Despite now being known for its vast collection of prolific pieces, it was once used as a simplistic storage unit. These caves were first uncovered by British archaeologist Wilfred Hemp in 1927, but in reality, these structures date all the way back to 1600 BC, emphasising the region’s far-reaching history. As a result, guests are free to explore the intricacies of these structures as they marvel at a plethora of well-preserved artefacts from the Middle Bronze Age. There is even a range of benches outside of the caves for those who do not feel comfortable travelling inside. The Alzinaret Caves are based just under 20 minutes away from Villa Vaumera.
