The villa is all on one level, making it ideal for families with young children, older guests and those with limited mobility. The interior is spacious and stylish, decorated in light, neutral shades punctuated by pops of warming terracotta and colourful feature walls. There are floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that make the villa feel light and airy and allow easy access to the private garden and pool area. The living area features comfy sofas for relaxation and a large flatscreen smart TV to provide entertainment on cosy evenings or busy mornings while you’re planning your day. There is ample indoor dining space for you and your guests and a well-equipped kitchen bursting with high-end appliances that include an oven and microwave, Nespresso machine, washing machine and dryer, making preparing family meals and taking care of the laundry a breeze.

Villa Guigui has two spacious bedrooms, a double and a twin, both of which enjoy direct access to the garden. The bedrooms are as stylish and modern as the rest of the villa, with neutral shades and bright, high-end furnishings, and there are two family bathrooms with shower facilities. The configuration of rooms makes Villa Guigui the perfect choice for a couple with children or a couple and two friends who want to golf together. A cot and highchair are available on request, so even the very youngest family members can enjoy a comfortable stay at Villa Guigui!

The villa’s grounds are private and well-maintained, with a partly-covered outdoor dining area and a built-in barbecue for alfresco meals. There are stylish loungers for rest and relaxation and a private pool - perfect for a refreshing dip after a day on the course. As the sun sets over the mountains and the exterior lights come up, you’ll discover the ideal setting for after-dinner drinks and conversation to round off the perfect day.

The resort features the best greens in the region and promises players of all levels a challenging game in a stunning setting. It is the only resort in the Canary Islands to combine two eighteen-hole courses on the same site and is situated just minutes from the towns of Meloneras and Maspalomas and all that they have to offer in the way of beaches, restaurants, bars and leisure facilities. The area is well-known for its vast expanses of coastal dunes, a protected site that covers over a thousand acres. You can explore much of this area on foot, taking in sights such as the beautiful lagoon and lighthouse, but we recommend taking a camel safari for a truly unique and fun way to experience this incredible landscape.

Foodies will be pleased to know that both Maspalomas Meloneras is bursting with fantastic seafront restaurants that offer a tantalising mix of fantastic views and even better food! If seafood is a particular favourite, you’re in for a treat, but you won’t struggle to find other types of cuisine here either! The region has a wide range of delicious cuisine on offer, such as pulpo and prawns, grilled calamari, paella, steaks, tapas, burgers and pasta dishes - as well as plenty of bars where you can enjoy cocktails and pre-dinner drinks.

If you’re looking to get some shopping in during your stay at Salobre Golf Resort, you’ll be pleased to know that there are some fantastic outdoor markets to visit in the area, both during the week and on Saturdays, with stalls selling everything from clothing and jewellery to arts, crafts and fresh produce. The aloe vera plant is native to Gran Canaria, so you’ll find a wide array of aloe vera products on sale at the markets here - so be sure to grab some locally-sourced skincare during your visit! If you’re looking for a higher-end shopping experience, we recommend heading to Boulevard Faro, where you’ll find well-known labels like La Perla, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger. A little further along the seafront, you’ll find the popular Bellavista and El Varadero shopping centres, as well as even more cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy.
