About this property
Casa Rubicon is a spacious two-bedroom holiday home in Costa Papagayo, offering a great balance of privacy, outdoor living and easy access to Playa Blanca. Set on a quiet residential cul-de-sac, it works particularly well for couples, friends or a small family looking to enjoy Lanzarote at an easy pace.
Inside, the open-plan living space is generous, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a large lounge with plenty of seating. Patio doors open directly onto the terrace, creating an easy flow between indoors and out. Both bedrooms are located on the upper level, with the main double bedroom opening onto a terrace where you can take in panoramic mountain views. Outside, Casa Rubicon has plenty to keep everyone entertained. The private 8 x 4 metre swimming pool is joined by sun loungers, a day bed, shaded dining space, a pool table and table tennis, making the terrace just as suited to lazy afternoons as friendly competition.
Playa Blanca town centre and Playa Dorada Beach are around a 15–20 minutes away, while Marina Rubicón can be reached in roughly another 10 minutes.
Casa Rubicon is based just a short distance away from the centre of Playa Blanca, a region that is deeply celebrated for its wide collection of amazing landmarks. One of the region’s most unusual attractions is The Spoon In Concrete, which is situated just a stone’s throw away from the villa. This ordinary spoon has been submerged in concrete for many years, and legend suggests that it hosts a plethora of magic powers. Many people who have spotted this spoon have later seen their dreams come true, such as getting married to the love of their life and even winning the lottery. Despite its bold claims, this spoon is incredibly hard to find, so it is often associated with avid explorers. Thus, this is a fantastic activity for anyone looking to test their luck whilst on holiday.
For those looking to pick up a collection of affluent souvenirs during their time in this region, a trip to Centro Commercial Rubicon Shop & Fun is a must-do activity. This vast shopping centre is teeming with desirable outlets, including designer retailers, quirky pop-up shops, and independent stores. In turn, it is also a perfect attraction to visit if you love supporting small businesses and purchasing off-beat items. Once you have experienced everything that this exemplary mall has to offer, be sure to enjoy a delicious meal in one of the many restaurants found on-site. Centro Commercial Rubicon Shop & Fun can be found just a short distance away from Casa Rubicon.
Since this region is surrounded by crystal-clear water, scuba diving is a common pastime for both tourists and locals. Lanzarote Non-Stop Divers is a deeply prestigious establishment that offers guests a plethora of experiences and courses to choose from. As soon as you arrive, you will be paired with an expert instructor who will provide you with a collection of essential safety briefings and a range of specialist equipment. Once you feel fully confident and calm, you will be asked to submerge yourself underwater. Thus, this is an incredible way for guests to gain a much more personal and intimate look at the region’s diverse marine wildlife. Lanzarote Non-Stop Divers is located just a few minutes away from the villa.
