Casa Norte is a fabulous villa, particularly suited to 2 small families or a larger family with older children. The villa is arranged as two, almost identical apartments connected via internal and external staircases. Located just 700m from the centre of the delightful resort of Moraira, Cas Norte offers bright and spacious accommodation with a wonderful terrace featuring a summer kitchen, alfresco dining and a new swimming pool.

The added bonus of this villa is that it is not necessary to have a hire car as it is only a 10-minute walk to the centre and there are restaurants and shops moments away. However, you may still want to explore the captivating areas surrounding Moraira.

Moraira is a gem on the Costa Blanca, nestled between mountains and vineyards. Historically a small village, Moraira has retained its charm with a lack of high rises, so visitors return time and time. Local fishing boats supply the famous fish market most mornings, and you will have driven passed the lush orange groves and Muscatel grapes on the way in. Moraira has an impressive marina littered with bobbing colourful boats and lined by fish restaurants and bars. The cobbled streets and market squares boast many cosy restaurants serving delicious cuisine, some of which are Michelin recommended.

Each of the bright and cheery apartments in Casa Norte boasts two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a tiled bathroom and a spacious open plan living space. The apartments are very well maintained and offer a warm, relaxed ambience. Comfortable, modern furnishings complement the traditional, charming wooden features. When arriving at Casa Norte, a gated driveway leads to a carport with parking for two cars.

A few steps from here lead down to the lower level and up to the upper level. The lower level apartment offers a double and a twin bedroom, a shared bathroom with a bath with a shower overhead and a lovely lounge/dining room. Windows surrounding the dining table looks out to the pool terrace. There is also a separate laundry room and poolside toilet on the ground floor.

The internal staircase can reach the upper apartment or if preferred for privacy, the external stairs. The bedrooms are also comprised of a double, and twin and the apartment boasts a shared bathroom with a double-sized walk-in shower. The apartment is exceptionally bright, illuminated by the many windows and french doors to the balcony. The high ceilings and archways give a fabulous feeling of space, and the beamed ceilings are charming. The central fireplace is very attractive, and the outlook is fabulous. This villa makes you smile!

The spacious terracotta terrace boasts alfresco dining, a lovely outdoor kitchen area with a built-in barbecue, lounge seating, sun loungers and the wonderful 8m x 4m swimming pool.  nThe excellent location and the bright, charming spaces make this a very popular villa. Casa Norte is located very close to the centre of Moraira. The nearest restaurant is just 200m from the villa and there are two supermarkets within 300m.

 

Moraira is an old-fashioned charmer, unspoilt, picturesque and boasting 8km of stunning coastline made up of sandy and rocky beaches and intimate coves. Moraira hosts a colourful Friday market selling fresh local produce, clothes, leather goods, jewellery and ceramics. The town offers fine dining, swanky bars, local relaxed cafes and plenty of ice cream parlours to delight the young ones.

There are also two nightclubs for the party set. The streets are a delightful mix of narrow, cobbled alleys and modern avenues lined with palm trees and fountains. The two main sandy beaches have Blue Flag status and are perfect for family fun. Playa L’Ampolla offers watersports, a summer floating platform with slides and ramps, climbing apparatus for children and volleyball at the rear of the beach.

The beach is surrounded by a wooded park, palm trees and a small marsh, home to many birds. Watersports on offer include jet-skiing, water skiing, deep-sea fishing, diving and fun inflatable rides. The stunning Portet Beach is delightful with a sandy bay and rocky shelves with rock pools. Cala Moraig is a stunning cove between Moraira and Benitatxell. Cala Portitxolet is an idyllic hidden cove with stunning beauty and turquoise water.

Golf fans will be delighted with the courses available close by. You can play at Club de Golf, Javea, Club de Golf Ifach in Moraira, Altea Golf Club and several others, enjoying the wonderful scenery, all with the fabulous mountainous backdrop. It is roughly a 90-minute drive to the cosmopolitan town of Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city.

You can explore the atmospheric Old Town where you will find one of Spain’s oldest and largest cathedrals, the country’s first bullring and the cutting-edge City of Arts and Sciences complex, home to interactive museums and an outdoor art gallery. Valencia is renowned for its fantastic dining scene.
