This magnificent Mediterranean villa enjoys a stunning view of the sea from its prime location in the town of Villajoyosa. An enticing hot tub is a perfect place from which to make the most of it, and you’re only a few steps away from an even closer look down on the beach.
Villa Roca's position on the rugged cliffs of Villajoyosa is just one its many advantages. A delightful terrace provides seating, sun loungers and outdoor dining, with a large barbecue and a covered dining area looking out on the beach. The hot tub has been positioned so that you get a panoramic view of the ocean – not a wrong way to end the day, possibly with a glass of champagne in hand.
Inside the house, there’s a rustic feel to the living room and dining area, with fireplace and lots of comfortable seating. You have a large wooden dining table and chairs to enjoy meals inside, and a spacious kitchen complete with a large fridge freezer, coffee machine and all the other appliances you may need.
The villa has three double bedrooms set over two floors, each of them air-conditioned for extra comfort. Two of the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, while a third bathroom is available to all. Villa Roca provides other amenities including Wi-Fi, a safe and satellite TV, as well as parking for two cars.
Villajoyosa is an excellent location on the Costa Blanca, just south of Benidorm and a little further from Alicante. The town has everything from essential facilities to beautiful white sands and historic buildings, with its Old Town area well worth a visit. There’s a great choice of restaurants and bars to discover in Villajoyosa and also look out for the cute coloured houses which line the beachfront.
If you’re holidaying with the family, or fancy some fun yourselves, the region is packed with theme parks, water parks and the like, while the natural beauty of the Serra Gelada is worth a look too.
***Please note that the beach infront of the property is a nudist beach.
Villajoyosa is a traditional Spanish town on the Costa Blanca, a short distance from Benidorm but lesser-known as a visitor destination. It is recognisable by the many coloured houses which face its long and wide beach, providing a contrast to the 3km clean, white sands in front of them.
The original purpose of this vibrant decoration was to help guide fishers home, as what is now a relatively large town was once a small fishing village – and it is still a big part of life in Villajoyosa today.
The reliably mild climate makes Villajoyosa an attractive place to stay all year-round, and its position between the sea and the mountains give it some scenic spots.
The Old Town is particularly pleasant to potter around, with landmarks worth noting including the 16th-century watchtower and Roman bridges. You are likely to come across the daily fish market, which provides the ideal opportunity to sample the local catch.
Another place to get to know the town’s history is at the small but exciting Vilamuseu, a museum right in the heart of the city. Perhaps the town’s best-known visitor attraction is its chocolate museum – the reason for its existence is that one of Spain’s most famous chocolate brands, Valeo, is based in Villajoyosa, and the museum gives you the opportunity to see how it’s made.
A local diving centre and tennis club are among the sporting diversions on offer in Villajoyosa, and its position on the tram line running from Alicante to Dénia means you can quickly go exploring.
It’s easy to forget that nearby Benidorm was just a small fishing village itself until as recently as the 1960s, and many of its attractions have a watery element – the Aqualandia and Terra Mitica theme parks are popular family choices.
Further south, Alicante is a rewarding city filled with attractive parks, plazas and beaches. When you visit, you could also take a boat trip out to the beautiful island of Tabarca, less than an hour away and wonderfully unspoilt.
***Please note that the beach infront of the property is a nudist beach and a quiet tram line passes behind the propety.

This villa was absolutely lovely for our 1 week stay in Alicante. Check in was easy and Jorge, the property manager, was great. We loved the privacy, the view, and the amenities. The layout and design worked for our family of 4.
