Approximately one hundred and twenty-five kilometres from Dalaman Airport, the scenic drive to Kalkan winds through the Taurus Mountains and rolling countryside.

Once a Greek enclave known as Kalamaki, Kalkan is rich in Ottoman and Hellenic heritage. Its charming old town features cobbled lanes lined with whitewashed houses, boutique shops, and over 150 restaurants, cafés, and bars. A short, steep walk from the villa leads to a local supermarket, while Kalkan itself offers a wider range of amenities, including banks and a bustling Thursday market.

Nearby Kisla is home to some of the region’s most exclusive beach clubs, such as the elegant Villa Mahal and stylish Zest, both offering seafront dining and exceptional facilities. A private gulet cruise from Kalkan harbour is a must. Spend the day swimming in hidden bays, savouring freshly prepared meze, and returning at sunset with a cocktail in hand.

Further afield, explore the golden sands of Patara, the dramatic setting of Kaputas Beach, or the ancient ruins of Xanthos and Letoon. The scenic coastal road to Kas offers unforgettable views, leading to a town of artisan shops, Ottoman architecture, and traditional eateries, as well as ferries to the nearby Greek island of Meis.
